New Van

Sorry it's taken so long for this post, but since getting back from Venice it's been a bit of a crazy week all in all.  My brother in law and I had a great but busy weekend sorting our our 3 caravans, Friday the weather was fantastic as you will see from the pictures below, however, Saturday it was atrocious, it rained solidly all day, didn't matter too much as we needed to go shopping and I wanted to sort out the inside of my caravan, my brother in law after finishing all his chores decided to pay a little visit to the sauna, a favourite passtime of his.

Last year while on holiday we deicided to upgrade our caravan, we used to have a 4.5m van which was lovely but after 10 years seemed a bit small, anyway, we were out there last year and was shown this caravan, 6.2m long 2.4m wide, much bigger than our old one so with a bit of tooing and froing we decided to buy it, here she is.

Below is a picture of the inside of the awning, (this is the tidy end the other end is full of the table, bikes etc that are outside when we are there), I do have some nice curtains for the front of the unit which hide all the clutter but they were playing hide and seek, I couldn't find them, I'm sure they will turn up at some point, probably when I'm putting everything away at the end of the holiday!

Here are a couple of pictures of the inside.

This is our pitch, Angel is next door to the left.  Kelly is a little further up.

I can't wait to get back out there.  Hope Ryanair reduce their prices half term week so I can book a sneeky couple of days away with Master M..........................Hmmm

Have a great week everyone.

  7. So very cool. It's like the Super Tent (neither Luke nor I like camping!). But vans, vans I think I could grow accustomed to. This is definitely not a US thing! Great pictures. :)

  16. While I'm not the outdoorsy type - it does look like you've managed the adventure while preserving the creature comforts! Glad you had a nice getaway :)
