Ken and Barbie................

Are coming to dinner tonight, yes I have married friends and they really are called Ken and Barbie!

As you can imagine this causes a bit of a laugh and some raised eyebrows, although they don't actually look like this.........well not most of the time anyway!!

They did have a bit of a theme at their wedding, it was all done very tastefully, but as Barbie said it had to be done.

We are going to eat a goats cheese and red onion tart.........



Followed by lovely roast lamb with rosemary and garlic, look away now if you are a veggie person......


There will probably also be a couple or so bottles of wine consumed during the evening, lets hope not too much as tomorrow morning Master M has a rugby match !!

  6. Ken and Barbie! lol, they must have a good sense of humour and/or a huge amount of patience as they must get their legs pulled all the time....lovely menu, have a fab evening and good luck with the rugby tomorrow x

  7. I know a couple called Terry and June, not at all like the ones in the sitcom! I also used to work with a friend called Thelma which everyone used to find funny!

  14. I love it Barbie and Ken! I still have my old Barbie doll, but her ears are now green from wearing cheap earrings!! Ha ha. Your dinner must have been fabulous! The tart and the lamb ... yummo!
