How did it go !...................

My last post was about me wanting to learn to crochet, well as you know I got together all the things I needed and set off.  I have never been one to sit and study for too long so I looked at how to do the basic chain stitch from one book and then how to do a triple stitch from another and after a couple of false starts, having to undo and redo etc etc etc I finally managed to do these.....

I know they are far from perfect but I have to say I was actually extremely pleased with myself, I realise that this is only the beginning, but with a few more I will at least have enough to make the coveted cushion.

I will of course update you as my little project progresses.

See you all again soon.....

  6. Well done you! They look fab! It's really addictive, especially as you can knock them off quite quickly, and colour choosing and combination making is so much fun! Keep it up, you will soon be going from a cushion, to a blanket.....the world will be your oyster! he he!xxx

  8. Hi Rosie
I started to learn to crochet last week. You are producing better things than me already! They are great! I am following some you-tube videos to teach myself but am only just mastering double crochet stitch. Oh well, i will keep going.

  13. Just found your blog - well done on the crochet - I can knit and have done for years, but I cannot for the life of me master crochet - beyond the foundation chain!
