It's All About Me......................

This post is to tell you all a little more about me............

I love all things italian, to the extent that I married one! I spend every summer holiday in Italy (close to Venice) and also visit Mr RPs family in Puglia. My home also has elements of my favourite country like these traditional Murano lanterns that are now hanging in the conservatory, it has only taken 4 years to get them in place but I think they look gorgeous.

My son is more Italian than English and is always very happy when he gets to visit his Nonno (grandfather).  I think it also has a lot to do with the fact that he gets to eat the most fantastic food and is thouroughly spoilt as they only see him a couple of times a year.

This is a  picture of the main square in Mr RPs village.

Time for Tea....... or Coffee!

There is nothing better than having good cup of tea or coffee and a chat with a good friend, the beverage however, does have to be in a bone china cup or mug, I've just seen these in Laura Ashley and think they're gorgeous. The design is Josette and I think I might just have to treat myself. What do you think?
